Using American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ASC X12 standards, 3KB supports the standard 204. 210, 990, and 214 transaction sets you need to send and receive shipping and billing information.

First developed in the 1960's, EDI was setup with the objective of speeding up the movement of shipping and transportation documents. With to days technology it has since expanded from just enabling the electronic exchange of purchase orders, acknowledgments, and invoices to include global procurement and sourcing.
